NEW DELHI: Virat Kohli playing his 500th international match, slammed his 29th Test century on the second day of the second Test against West Indies in Port of Spain on July 21. With this ton, he equalled Sir Donald Bradman’s Test record of 29 centuries.

Kohli, showcasing his impeccable skills and technique, reached his 29th Test hundred, off 180 balls, with a four off Shannon Gabriel, solidifying his reputation as one of the greatest batsmen of the modern era. With the ton, Kohli also ended his overseas century drought, scoring his first overseas Test hundred since December 2018.

Kohli celebrated the feat with a big smile, embracing his partner Ravindra Jadeja and raising his bat to a standing ovation from his teammates. He has a total of 76 centuries in both Tests and ODI’s and is next only to Sachin Tendulkar in the overall list of top century scorers.
