MUMBAI: The Board of Directors of Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL) at its AGM on August 28 accepted the resignation of Nita Ambani from the Board. It also appointed Isha, Akash and Anant Ambani as non-executive directors. The Board also approved Chairman and Managing Director, Mukesh Ambani’s tenure for another five years.
The Board of Directors appreciated Nita Ambani for her leadership of Reliance Foundation as its Founder Chairperson. “Over the years, Reliance Foundation has made considerable progress in its mission of nurturing and empowering marginalised and under-resourced communities in India,” said a Reliance Industries release.
