Col DPK Pillay (retd) is a Research Fellow at the MP-IDSA, in New Delhi. He also served at the National Security Council Secretariat as a Senior Defence Specialist. After retirement, he served as a Military Advisor to the After Action Review conducted by the International Red Cross for the wars in Iraq, Syria and Yemen.
