The award ceremony, held at the Royal Lancaster, London, on February 1, celebrated NotifyNOW & E.ON Next’s contributions to the realm of digital innovation and customer support in the face of bereavement challenges.
The award-winning notifynOW, developed by The Estate Registry in collaboration with Phillips & Cohen Associates, is revolutionising the process for UK creditors dealing with deceased accounts.
Partnering with E.On Next, they’ve introduced a groundbreaking online platform designed to support individuals navigating the complexities of bereavement and estate management.
This digital, selfserve platform empowers estate representatives to efortlessly notify E.ON Next of a customer’s passing, providing a convenient avenue for communication during a challenging time.
Tracey Smith, Third Party Commercial Manager at E.ON Next, emphasised the importance of simplifying this process, highlighting notifynOW’s role in ofering practical assistance to customers during emotionally taxing moments.
nick Cherry, Chief Operating Ofcer at PCA, expressed his satisfaction with the solution’s impact, noting its ability to alleviate some of the administrative burdens faced by bereaved individuals. By leveraging technology, notifynOW and E.ON Next aim to mitigate stress and streamline the post-bereavement journey for afected parties. “While we know just how important it is for the people whose job it is to help them to be compassionate, we also know that technology can play a signifcant part in reducing this burden and reducing some of the unwelcome stress that comes with bereavement”, he said.
This award adds to the duo’s growing list of achievements, following their success at the Credit Service Association’s Awards and Credit Strategy’s Vulnerability Awareness Gala. The partnership’s dedication to innovation and addressing the needs outlined by the UK Commission on Bereavement underscores their commitment to providing efective solutions in times of need.
