Team Blitz India
The Artificial Intelligence Safety Institute (AISI) is currently on a recruitment drive in its goal to advance the world’s knowledge of AI safety by carefully examining, evaluating, and testing frontier models and systems.
The AISI will conduct fundamental research on how to keep society safe in the face of fast and unpredictable progress in AI. The Institute will make its work available to the world, enabling an effective global response to the opportunities and risks of advanced AI. The announcement was recently made in a statement by the AISI and UK’s Department for Science, Innovation and Technology.
The January 17 release says that the mission stems from the conviction that governments have a key role to play in providing publicly accountable evaluations of AI systems and supporting research. Governments will only be able to develop effective policy and regulatory responses to AI if they understand the technology better than they do today, it added.
By building a body of evidence on the risks from advanced AI, the Institute will lay the foundations for technically grounded international governance, the statement further stated.
An expression of interest can be posted for jobs like Cyber Misuse Evaluations Lead, Loss of Control Evaluations Lead, Safeguard Analysis Lead, Research Engineer, Research Scientist, Chief Information Security Officer, Software Engineer, Head of Engineering, Frontend Developer, and UX Engineer.
