NEW DELHI: Days ahead of the Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha event, Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scinedia inaugurated the first Air India Express flight from Ayodhya to Kolkata on January 17.
UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath was present at Lucknow received the boarding pass for the first flight between Kolkata and Ayodhya.
Speaking at the inauguration event, Scindia said that the development of UP is reaching new heights under the leadership of Prime Minister Narednra Modi.
“The development of UP is reaching new heights. If we look at the population of UP, almost 70 per cent of the population of the US is in UP.
“We celebrated Diwali last November, the second Diwali was on December 3 when the election results were declared and not for the entire country but for the entire world the third Diwali is going to be celebrated on the coming 22nd,” he added.
