NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on January 10 unveiled India ‘s 25-year goal, pledging to make the nation a developed one by 2047, aligning with the centenary celebration of independence.

PM Modi, reflecting on India’s global influence through its G20 Presidency, emphasized the country’s priorities, aspirations, and commitment to human-centric development and equality. He underscored India’s focus on sustainable development, infrastructure, new-age skills, artificial intelligence, and innovation as key pillars of this transformative vision.

Highlighting India’s economic trajectory, PM Modi stated, “Today, India is the world’s fifth-largest economy. Ten years ago, we were at 11. Every rating agency expects India, in the next few years, to be among the top three economies in the world. This optimistic projection positions India as a major player in the global economic landscape.” he said.
