NEW DELHI: Dr. Abdulnasser Jamal Alshaali, UAE’s Ambassador to India, has heaped praise on India for its outstanding organisation of the G20 Summit in New Delhi on September 9-10.
He expressed his country’s deep pride in being an integral part of this international process and reiterated the strong bond of strategic partnership and friendship between the United Arab Emirates and India. Dr. Alshaali assumed his role as the Ambassador in September last year. Prior to that, he was the Assistant Minister for Economic and Trade Affairs (ETA). In his former capacity, Ambassador Alshaali played a pivotal role in advancing his nation’s economic policies on the global stage.
Dr. Alshaali’s responsibilities included facilitating the implementation of the UAE’s economic policy vis-à-vis other countries, promoting the nation’s economic, trade, and financial interests, and ensuring robust support for the growth of foreign investments in the UAE He has received various honors like the Foreign Minister’s Medal for the Distinguished Director, the Foreign Minister’s Award for the Distinguished Employee, and the Knowledge Day Award, presented by the Crown Prince of Ajman. Dr. Alshaali holds a PhD in Economics from the Australian National University.
